Contacts Backup – Export & Import
Install the app from Google Play.
Grant Contacts permission.
Choose Export → CSV, then share or save the file.
Check your CSV: Open in Excel or Google Sheets to confirm columns (Name, Phone, Email) mapped correctly.
Large Lists: Break into smaller groups if the converter times out.
Privacy Considerations: If you’re uneasy about uploading your entire address book, use a trusted desktop solution instead (e.g., Google Contacts import/export).
Local Alternatives: Many desktop apps (Outlook, macOS Contacts) can import a vCard and export CSV without sending data to a web service.
With these steps, you can export your contacts as a vCard on your phone and convert them to CSV—even entirely on-device if you choose.
